Rhinebeck: An Epic Adventure Chapter 2. Toyota Echo - Tonka Tough

When we last left our heroine, Princess Amie was embarking on a great Quest For Knowlege in her fearless steed Norman. Loaded down with much gold that the handsome Prince GB had given her to speed her on her way (which was handed over during the sincerest of apologies at the inadvertant untruth that had been told), she was all set for the adventure before her.

Ready to face the evil Queen Catherine of Rhinebeck to demand that Amie be allowed into the classes for which gold had already been sent, the Princess went to her class with fierce determination. Queen Catherine quickly placed the blame on a variety of others, but allowed Amie into the class. There our Princess met the Sorceress known as Cecelia Quinn.
Wizards Hat
Sorceress Cecelia passed on many magical gifts to Princess Amie, and before long Amie was spinning finer than she ever had before (52 wpi) and thicker than she ever had before (11 wpi). Aptly named was the class, Spinning to Specification. Princess Amie learned how to keep her yarn more consistant throughout her projects, and learned a few new techniques for spinning in general as well. Cecelia was quite generous in complimenting Amie's talents, and Amie beamed with joy.
Sunshine
Though she was armed with new Knowlege, Princess Amie's Quest was not yet complete. She wandered the grounds of the kingdom until she encountered the fair maiden Jen, guide on the Trail of Spirit and her merry babes - er - wenches, Shelia and Martha. With them, Amie found Sorceress and Knitting Heretic Annie.
Magic Wand
Before long our heroine and her friends grew hungry. The found themselves at a local tavern, enjoying laughter and ale (but no scrod).
Ladies Night
In the midst of their joy and laughter, the tavern barkeep came and interupted the fun with some bad news. Another tavern patron had been leaving, and backed into Princess Amie's trusty steed Norman.
Demolition Derby
Rushing to her beloved mount's side, Amie discovered a drunken man and a very young woman, his daughter, who had been steering her carriage, and lost control. Terrified of what wounds dear Norman had received, it was with great trepidation that Amie looked at his scars... some slight swelling, minor bruising, and Norman was fine. There would be an extra scoop of oats in his feed that night.

I was at my neighborhood newsstand last night, enjoying my last few days as a resident of NYC, and I saw a copy of VOGUEKnitting.

VOGUEKnitting? What is that? Do you knitters take this magazine seriously or is it some pop culture BS?

Just thought you might be the person to ask.
