Fabulous Fickle!

Hey, Ames! Where've you gotten on those great cuff-down socks?

Why thank you for asking!

Absolutely no where! Four times!!!

I've restarted these socks so many times I could have knit the whole pair several times over. So now it's your turn. Here's a look at how it knits up in 2x2 Ribbing, so you can see the varigation

And here are my current options from various Barbara Walker Treasuries:
DROOPING ELM LEAF

CANDLE FLAME

CORAL PATTERN

FERN LACE

So now I'm leaving this up to you. Pick one, and whichever one you vote for, that's the one I'll knit. This way, if they look bad, it will be your fault! Not that they will, because the one you pick will be...

Yup. Fabulous.

So help me get over my fickleness and onto my fabulousness....

i really like candle flame (yes, i voted for it).

as for your comment about my driveband, i would, if that were the problem! it's my brakeband, and i don't think i can spin up monofilament. sigh. i'm going to stop at walmart tomorrow, and take my bit along, and see if i can find some fishing line that will work. it's all the same, right? (please, whimper, i'm going through withdrawal!)

How did you do that vote thingy! I am so envious of your bloggability!

Remember now - you're knitting down so all your patterns will be upside down - unless you're going to reverse them. Whew! now that would be a math wizz trick.

I voted for Coral, even though it's my least favorite, because I think it would work best with that yarn. Candle flame would be my favorite, and it's pretty much what I just did in the finally ended baby blanket, so I know it would be easy. Maybe Fern?
Change my vote to Fern.
