Heaven, thy name is Canada.
I've commented that if a certain folliage-prone politian is elected for the first time I might leave the country. I now know I will go to Newfoundland, and not just for the super sweet dogs.
Steph, Yarn Harlot extraordinaire, took this picture with the now famous Dublin Bay socks while on vacation last week.
That's right.
In Canada, they know.
They know that sure, sleep, food, that stuff's important. But when you're going to post a sign with some of the benefits to a certain exit, you gotta go with all the important ones.
Yes, my friends. That there's a ball o' yarn, right on that sign.
Oh, jeez, I promised myself I wouldn't cry.... (again)

How cool would that be to see a ball of yarn on a roadside sign? I think I'd probably wreck just trying to see what I'd find at that exit :)
LOVE the sign! That makes me so happy!
And, I'll be moving to New Zealand if a certain election favors the Fool of Foliage.
That's hysterical! I want more signs like that around here! There must have been a knitter who made decisions about the signs in that town. How lovely!
Amie, what a great picture! I have been wanting to visit Canada really badly. It just seems so perfect...anyways thanks for commenting on my blog. Glad to have found your site!

That's my kind of sign. Looks like I need to visit Canada soon. Any place that knows the importance of yarn has to be a pretty good place to be.
