Ugh. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for a funky throat thing I developed overnight Saturday. GB is out of town - AGAIN - I'm completely uninspired by every single knitting project I have going right now. I'm out of Adagio at work and my tea bag just fell off the string. I had to work yesterday for two new shows that they scheduled before bothering to see if anyone would be here to turn the mics on, and discovered that I kinda like Lithuanian Techno. The rains were so bad this weekend I nearly hit two mallards floating by in the parking lot this morning (no exaggeration). AC is in rare form today, and I can't find an address I need for something at work.

Can't we just start over at Friday night and have another shot at the weekend???

So it's Monday...what can you expect! It's a comfort to know we're not the only ones having a wretched day.

Hang in there, Amie. I think a lot of us are having a not so great day. I'm having one of those days too. The weekend was so great, I think we all need to start the weekend over, too. I think it's the time change and the seasonal changes. We all want to be outside playing in nice, sunny weather.

Oh ... I'm so sorry to read this ... but don't cry, Amie. It's been raining here too ... but let's us hope that the sun is just taking a short break from us and will soon be back!

That's pretty much the way I feel. The weekend was literally a wash-out (they've declared a state of emergency for NJ today, because of all the flooding). My allergies were HORRIBLE all weekend, and the Claritin I took not only didn't seem to help much, it made me jittery and ruined my sleep . . . which of course already felt short because of the time change. I vote, too, for giving the weekend another shot!

I'm gonna be the trout swimming upstream here. I wouldn't redo the weekend for anything! Now it's Monday, the sun is shining, and the step-daughter has returned from whence she went (without permission or knowledge). She is safe.

Oh yes. And I knit a hundred rows on the lace scarf. Here's hoping the rest of the week improves for you and everyone else!

I just had to tell you that your crying smilie is just breaking my heart. He looks so sad. I hope you're not that sad. I'm a hormonal mess and just looking at him makes me want to crumple into a heap and sob. I think I'll go eat and entire box of Ritz Bits instead.

Deepest sympathies! There must be something going around; the whole fiber blogworld seems to be in a funk. Hope things are better for everyone, including you and me, tomorrow!

According to your count, we are 27% alike. Now I need to go to your list, and see if the numbers hold...

Lithuanian techno! The teen introduced me to that this last weekend and wow. It's very good. I told him to feel free to play it in the house anytime. :)
