Yeah!! I know it seems really soon, but this way you can get it done quickly, start the radiation, and then get on with fighting this and putting it behind you.

I'm sending virtual hugs your way-

AMIE...this is really good news...only a couple more days of stress as opposed to 4 or 5 more weeks...and then you'll be on the road to recovery! Sending positive thoughts your way!

The sooner this is doen the sooner you'll be back on salt and all that. I know if it were me I'd be happy to know only a couple of days in advance rather than weeks. Less time to worry. Hang in there. **hugs**

EXCELLENT! Get it over and done, and a jump-start on healing. My theory of waiting/removing cancer (I had cervical cancer) is "If it ain't there, it can't hurt me!"

This is AWESOME! I would be certifiable if I had to wait for five to six weeks for cancer surgery. Believe me, you will be glad to get this behind you.

Good luck, good luck, good luck!

Scary as anything, but so good to get it over and done and in the past! Just, yes, remember to breathe. (Definitely, you do not want to stop doing that!)

I'll be sending good thoughts your way. If you can, bring your knitting with you. I know you won't feel much like knitting after surgery, but I found that it was really nice for the sitting and waiting part before surgery, and anything that you can do to calm your nerves is a good thing.

Amie, good news indeed that you will soon be getting this out of the way. I felt so sorry for you when you said you were wiped out from the weekend. The sooner this is done, the sooner you will be feeling better. Take heart, dear one - this will pass and you are going to beat this thing. My prayers are with you.
