Goodbye, Nana

Say "hi," to Pop-pop when you see him....
Nana
(this picture, taken at my wedding, is in the same dress she wore to my parents' wedding 37 years before. We will bury her in it next week.)

Amie, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma. If you are any indication of her, than I'm sure she was very sweet and made an inpact in this world. Things like this are never easy, even if you expect them.

I AM glad to see that you seem to be recovering. Slept on your stomach?! I'll be sending you all my good thoughts today.

Oh, I'm so sorry! It's never a good time to lose a loved one, but you've certainly already had enough going on in you life right now. I'm glad that you're at least recovering so well from your surgery. -Rachel

What a tough week, but how lucky to have had her this long. I never knew one grandmother and the other died way too young, while I was in high school. Cherish the time you had.

It seems to me that not many people on this planet have the privilege of having a Nana. When I was growing up I was the only one. As I meet new people, I find more Nana's around and they are all special. My thoughts are with you and your family!

Dear Amie:
I lost my grandmother last November. It was a very sad time for my family and me. I'm very sorry for your loss. I liked the picture that you posted of her. It gives everyone a chance to see this special grandma.
