With Apologies to Lady Macbeth (and a contest!)
Out! Out, Damn Stockings!!!I finally wrapped this in a bow and delivered these, via GB, to their proper owner today. One more to go, but hey, knitting one stocking is a heck of a lot less daunting than knitting five. Or six. But that's another story.
No, they aren't all the same size, thank you for noticing.
It would appear that the angrier I get at stockings I hate, the tighter I knit. I got angrier the longer it took to knit them.
So the first commenter who can correctly guess the order I knit the stockings (from left to right, one through four) will win a prize - yarn, fiber, or my own handspun, winners choice.
A small prize, mind you - I can only enjoy mocking my own pain so much, but nevertheless, have at it.

I think it's Patrick Emma Matt Kiley and you should keep the prize and also deserve applause for having finished them! *claps loudly*
I say Emma, Matt, Kiley, Patrick. Umm, that would be 2, 1, 3, 4. The basis for my guess is the number of letters that fit across the top of each one.
