Jackie-Mania
~~~~~~~~~
That was just to get your attention. There's business to go over first - then Jackie-Mania will continue. We've knit 1482 socks so far this year. We're 95 days into the year.
Does anyone care about the other statistics, or do we just want more puppy pictures?
That's what I thought.
Carry on.
~~~~~~~~
After spending the night in the hospital Saturday (in the first picture with the blue toy, you can see her shaved leg from being on an IV all night. I told her she shouldn't have shaved it because it will just grow back thicker - what are big sisters for? - but she had her mind made up), Jackie came home around noon on Sunday. She's been eating a chicken broth/rice mixture until her tummy adjusted, and today had some actual puppy food. She's feeling much better, responds to her name most of the time, comes on command a high percentage of the time, and is incredibly sweet. If anyone can teach me how to put short movies up on blogger, you'll be able to see her cute prance and hear her thunderous footsteps (which are impressive considering she currently weighs about eight pounds).
So thank you for the many prayers. I really don't believe she would have lived through the night if my parents hadn't adopted her, and I'm sure the prayers helped as well.
Now Oscar glues his nose to my pants when I return and I swear I'm hearing mutterings of "traitor" and "Benedict Arnold" under his breath. Trevor and Aslan don't care.

She already looks better than she did in the photos from the other day! What a dear, and a blessing.
She's just so cute. I love puppy noses. And puppy ears. And puppy paws. And puppy eyes. And...well, I just love puppies.
Oh and I have a sock to add to the total!
Ok, she's just about the cutest thing ever. (My dog is cuter, of course! heee!)
I love the first picture with her little nose.
She is just so DAMN cute!!!!
She's responding so fast to the TLC, too! Looks 100 times healthier than Sunday.
Congratulations again and again.
That cute little puppy looks soooo much better
I want puppy. I want puppy now.
Glad to see a good dog find a good home.
Yay, so glad to hear that Jackie is doing well! Too cute, especially that bottom pic!!
Oh, and add another sock to the tally, I finally finished a Jaywalker!
Conan and Sydney send her nose kisses. She's such a sweet thing, glad she's doing better. She'll have to come by and play soon.
Oh boy oh boy oh boy . . . puppy pictures rock!
She is so sweet. She`s making me wonder if we want a puppy too...except we`re all cat people here and we`re waiting impatiently for my friend`s cat to have her kittens. Two kittens AND a puppy??????
Oh she is just so cute! I'm glad she's feeling better. My dogs get very upset too if they smell another dog on me.
Aunt Amie! We want you to bring her to our house!
ya ya ya ya ya!!!
We have a back yard to play in!
I bet we'd have fun!
Love our new cousin!
Emma and Gracie (oh and our mom too)
Cute pup! Glad to hear she's doing well. Jada is in the nippy-yippy stage, but we still love her to bits. She figured out the stairs this morning, or better yet, she figured out how to come back down!
As for the question on my blog... yes they are fiber sheep (Shetlands) and quite possibly their fleece will be for sale next Spring. Seantzy and Colleen will probably turn white/grey but we're thinking that Molly just might stay black... possibly as she has no hint of white in her fleece and Seantzy does. I just sent off 40lbs of fleece to be processed into roving so I may have some of that for sale in the future (it'll be by sheep, not color... you know... this is roving from Catriona, this is roving from Ernie and so forth... I thought that was sort of neat). I'll let you know when it comes back in :) BTW... are there sheep for sale at Maryland Sheep & Wool? There's a slim possibility that we'll be able to go and since we're looking for another ram we were looking into the feasibility of "shopping" for one there. Thought I'd ask :)

I'm so glad she's doing better. She's such a cutie! I told Georgie and Chloe about Jackie and I know they were sending their always helpful healing vibes her way.
Also fascinating about the socks. I love reading the statistics. Just think if it were only one person knitting all those socks, their hands would be really tired by now. :) If you know what I mean.
I'm glad he's doing so much better, he sure is adorable.
oh I do love puppies.....
I get the sniff-over anytime I return home..I usually say "I didn't see any cute dogs today"....they know....
Add another sock to the ticker.
If baby booties count, and 2 more after that!
Puppy! How grand, so many pictures, too! Thanks Amie!
I'll add the trekker's the minute they are finished.
