Trevor will pump you up!
It would seem I've found the reason Oscar is managing to keep his girlish figure.
He's got a dietary coach who keeps a close eye on everything he eats.
Actually, who chases him away from his food so he can have it for himself.
(you'll notice the dietary coach does not have Oscar's girlish figure.
And for the record, there was a full bowl of catfood within reach)
I didn't have the heart to point out that he's a pitbull for crying out loud. I locked Trevor in Oscar's room while Oscar got a bite in. It's okay, Trevor's a cat. He was asleep before the latch shut.
But the training wasn't over.
Nope. Calesthenics came later.
This is the view out my living room window.
Wait for it....
Someone wants to come in.
He's not standing on anything, he's just jumping up and down.
I'm 5'6".
That window is level with my head from the outside.
So can I show you this again?
(hey, I saw it several times as he bounced up and down, it's only fair you should get to see it twice...)

Smiling now. Thank you!
My parents' standard poodle does the same thing. He regularly hits 6 feet. Cracks me up every time.
Those pictures are so cute!
That Oscar is going to be one, lean, doggie machine! I love the picture of the cat giving him the "Okay, you've had enough. I'll take care of the rest" look.
Work it Oscar, Work it! Love the sproing.
Great, all I have running through my head is Boing!Boing!Boing!
I finished two more socks! Woot!
That's a heck of a vertical jump! Go Oscar!
Finished another sock yesterday, btw.
hey sister!
We have 3 dogs. Two little ones (about 20 lbs each) and one big one (about 90 lbs). The big one is bullied by the little ones. So she can relate to poor Oscar's plight.
Might I just say, he deserves a gold medal for the high jump. Thanks for the laugh.
OMg, that is too, too much!
Boing Boing Boing Boing!!!!
We love you guys!
Emma & Gracie (girls rawk!)
Sorry Oscar - you're silly
Trevor has a very Boris-like physique. Dudley can jump almost like that - not as high as Oscar, but Dudley's alot shorter. He can get up to shoulder height on me (I'm 5'5").
I really needed something amusing to read today! That was great! Pets are so wonderful!

At my house, the cats play "musical food dishes." One of them is ... quite large. The other two are considerably smaller. In fact, the two of them together do not add up to the big one. We generally run distractions for the big one while the other two (slower) cats get to finish their meals. And Oscar? You can get shin splints from jumping like that.
Ooops. That anonymous blogger was me. Sorry 'bout that.
Pitbulls everywhere are probably about ready to toss Oscar out of the "Society of Tough Guys". Mama's boy, indeed.
Oh, I finished another sock, and it's the best I've ever done, and it's not for me. Poop.
