i think i'm out of luck on the sock knitting cruise. mark wants to go to california to SF. oh well, i told him i wanted the ocean, so i guess i'll get it there.

and i know someone who would just DIE (or dye?) over the green& purple yarn. their blog is , and they do a podcast. and yes, violet dyes yarn, and is actually trying to come up with a prototype.
