A Very Merry Un-Birthday
My baby sister is six months old today.
Shame she's not growing at all, eh?
In other news, I have a sneaking suspicion Oscar has been bit by a snake. His ear got very red and rashy this weekend (of course, the vet was closed) and after much careful cleaning and spraying with Bactine (which he did NOT like) and massaging with Neosporin (which Aslan liked very much) it's signficantly less red and rashy right now. And a close inspection showed two small puncture wounds right next to each other on the back of his ear.
So maybe it was a vampire.

My dog got bitten by a copperhead once, and her whole muzzle swelled up. Couldn't tell if it got red, because she's a black dog, but it was very puffy and hot, and we did see the two puncture marks. Vet said to keep an eye on her breathing, but other than that, there was nothing to do, and it probably wasn't life-threatening. Scary nontheless...
My cat likes Neosporin, too!
Wow! Talk about growth. Cute pup.
I once called poison control because I found our cat licking the open tube of neosporin.

Maybe Oscar should wear a garlic collar from now on.
Poor Oscar. He gets' the raw end of so much doesn't he? Sydney is offering to come over and lick it at this very minute. That makes everything better.
M was recently bitten by some sort of snake... we could see the two marks on her foot... didn't swell much, but was way sore for quite a few days. I rarely walk outside with out my wellies... yeah I look like a dork... but at least my feet are safe! I have this ingrained belief that all snakes have pin-up posters of my toes and are just waiting for the opportunity to strike.
Aww, poor Oscar! Glad to hear the swelling is going down!
Happy half birthday to Jackie. Wow, she's grown a lot since I saw her in May.
Poor Oscar, I hope he's feeling better soon. I agree with Amy Boogie, get that dog some garlic!
Poor baby Oscar - Hugs to him from Socks and Priss and Jack (and Bess)
What a cute auntie dog and how big and oh - those ears! Who would have thought that little shivery thing would grow so much!
