When Fiona gets older, she will almost certainly clean the evil vicious pitbull's ears by whacking hold of his nose with a handful of claws saying, "hold STILL!"
You know, it's really a shame that your animals are so terrified of each other (and you!). I really don't know how you all live in such a constant state of stress ;-)
Seriously, at the risk of sounding like I've never read your blog or heard anything you've ever said about pit bulls, it still amazes me how GENTLE larger dogs of any kind can be with smaller, more fragile animals. It's like they know exactly how hard they can go to be fun without hurting the little one. It's fascinating!
Amie, I have been watching a colony of cats that live in my new neighborhood -- several with Siamese markings, a few all black, and I have only just realized the others are marked like Turkish Vans, all white bodies with calico head and tail markings.
Oh, that is ust too adorable. Your dog is so sweet!! Wish my dog(a scottie)and son's cat, whom i have adopted while he is at school, got along that well.
Have you considered hiring them out to the UN - to be used as an example for the Arabs and Isrealis, or the Russians and the Chechens, or the............and the..........?
I have two Italian Greyhounds and one Ancient-of-Days moggie and the dogs and the geriatric cat sleep together, and the cat will (when it suits her) GROOM the senior IG. He just blisses out.
